The world is darkened as if covered in sadness
The icy air causes skin to crawl
The more I look out through the freezing glass
I want this feeling to evaporate
The gloom saturates me to my very core
The sorrow leaves me silent
My breath feels shallower than ever before
Shadows still cover at night’s end
I beg the sun to rise
The world is pale as if it’s been desaturated
The mountains turn into glaciers
The less I look out through that window
Faded feelings dig into my sides like spurs
The pain saturates me to the very core
The seclusion renders me silent
My chest feels heavier than ever before
Shadows still cover at night’s end
I beg the Iscariotical sun to rise
Shine on this town
Melt away the gloom
Expel the shadows that loom
Like my white breath
In this freezing air
I want this heartache to disappear
Shine on this one
The icy air causes skin to crawl
The more I look out through the freezing glass
I want this feeling to evaporate
The gloom saturates me to my very core
The sorrow leaves me silent
My breath feels shallower than ever before
Shadows still cover at night’s end
I beg the sun to rise
The world is pale as if it’s been desaturated
The mountains turn into glaciers
The less I look out through that window
Faded feelings dig into my sides like spurs
The pain saturates me to the very core
The seclusion renders me silent
My chest feels heavier than ever before
Shadows still cover at night’s end
I beg the Iscariotical sun to rise
Shine on this town
Melt away the gloom
Expel the shadows that loom
Like my white breath
In this freezing air
I want this heartache to disappear
Shine on this one
